Returning familiesMid July you should begin to receive your welcome back packets that include any changes for the new school year, school supplies list and important documents. Please ensure your address is updated so you can receive these documents. If you need an address update, please contact Ms. Pondexter to schedule a time to update your records. You will need to provide proof of residency of your current address. Students have been provided summer work packets to keep them engaged academically over the next several weeks. Every student received a math packet and reading list provided by Imagine Schools. Students will also receive the summer packet provided by PGCPS. Please check the website if you need another packet for your child to complete this summer at http://www1.pgcps.org/summerpackets/. While we want students to have a great summer with activities, please make sure your children are engaged academically for 30-45 minutes daily to avoid the summer slump when they return and to maintain proficiency or above levels. Updated immunizations are VITAL to returning in the fall. MSDE is monitoring each child’s shot record closely and attendance will not be permitted if your child’s immunizations are not updated.
