Activities: Students will watch the music video “Latinoamerica” by Calle 13 which shows various people and the environments they live in throughout Latina America. Assignment: Students will choose three of the five questions to write about based on the music video. 09/11/12 Objectives: Students will be able to understand the Spanish alphabet and write the appropriate letter. Core: Understand and interpret spoken and written Spanish on a variety of topics Activities: Students will take a practice test in preparation for the test on Wednesday. Students will practice saying the alphabet to their partners and spelling words for their partners in the Spanish language. Core: Understand the nature of language through comparisons between Spanish and English Activities: Utilize Spanish/English dictionaries and their textbooks to find Cognates for 16 letters of the Spanish alphabet. Assignment: Students will create posters utilizing the cognates that they found.
