Color Fun Run/Walk Event

What is a color fun run/walk?
 The Mill Creek Color run/walk is a fun event that focuses less on speed and more
on crazy color fun with friends and family. Throughout the course you will be
showered with brightly colored paint that will turn your white shirt into a color
explosion. Students, parents, family members, anyone is welcome. Runners and
walkers of all ages are welcome. Participants are encouraged to wear a white shirt
for the color splash zones. Students 3rd grade and younger must be accompanied
by an adult.
What about the paint?
 Color stations will be located around the race route.
 The paint is non-toxic and eco-friendly cornstarch with food grade coloring.
Cost:
 Before May 7th: $5 per participant or $15 for family of 3 or more participants
 On day of run/walk: $10 participant or $30 for family of 3 or more participants
Participants must register to participate. Registered participants will be given a wristband
to wear. Students 3rd grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
What will the money raise be used for?
 To help purchase iPads for classrooms
Donations
 Any additional donations will be accepted
Note
For the safety of all participants, skateboards, scooters, and skates are prohibited in this
event. Please leave all pets at home.
Day of Event
 Meet on the blacktop between 3:30 and 3:45 to register and get instructions.
 We will line-up on the blacktop in grade levels with 5th grade starting the run first.
We will begin with a staggered start to the run!

The PTA Mill Creek Birthday celebration will begin immediately following the
completion of the Color Fun Run/Walk.
