Student Graphing Calculator Agreement
In an effort to give all students an opportunity to work with a graphing calculator in the
classroom and at home, Munday Secondary School has purchased graphing calculators
for all students enrolled in a mathematics class. MSS will issue each student his/her own
calculator just as we issue textbooks. The student is then responsible for the calculator. If
it does not work when it is returned at the end of the year, then the student will be
responsible for paying the replacement cost (just as with textbooks).
Please take a moment to go over the following agreement with your child. After discussing
this agreement and its requirements, please sign at the bottom and return the agreement to
your child’s mathematics teacher (Mrs. Shahan, Mrs. Bowman, Mrs. Kuehler or Mrs.
Cude). Calculators will not be issued until a signed agreement is on file.






I understand that this calculator must be kept in its case when not in use.
I understand that I will be responsible for replacing the batteries as needed.
I understand that I must return this calculator at the end of the year and that it
must work at that time.
I understand that I am expected to bring this calculator to class each day.
I understand that I will be held responsible for paying for damage incurred while
in my custody up to the full cost of the calculator depending on the extent of the
damage (approximate cost of calculator is $95).
I understand that I will have to pay for the calculator if I do not return the
calculator when it is due back at the end of the school year.
