at 5PM.

Homecoming Royalty Application
Requirements 2016
Nominees will be required to take picture by January 18, 2016 or send one in with
their application.
Nominees may not campaign (hang flyers, send e-mails to the student list, etc.) or
solicit for votes.
The 2016 Homecoming Court will be selected from a pool of nominees by a secret
alumni committee appointed by the USCA Alumni Council. The committee will
focus on outstanding leadership achievements, scholarship, community service and
the overall ability of the nominee to represent USCA at a variety of official events
and in the community. The 2016 Homecoming Court will be announced on Monday
evening, February 1st during Rally the PUB event (Hypnotist).
Voting will be held on-line beginning on Monday, February 1st at 9:00 p.m. and will
end on Saturday, February 6th at Noon. Students can access the web site from any
computer on or off campus which has internet access.
Qualifications:
Must be an enrolled student at USC Aiken for the 2016 spring semester.
Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better (it will be verified).
Must be a returning student for the 2016-2017 academic year.
All nominees must attend the introduction of the Homecoming Court to the student
body on Monday, February 1st.
Homecoming Court members must be present for the Men's and Women's
Homecoming basketball games on Saturday, February 6th, 2016. The games will
begin at 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
Responsibilities for Elected King & Queen:
The 2016 Homecoming King and Queen will participate in at least two (2) public
service activities throughout the year. These public service activities are to be
recorded and kept on file by the Office of Student Life.
The 2016 King and Queen must participate in the Aiken County Christmas parade
as representatives of USC Aiken.
The 2016 Homecoming King and Queen Representatives must be on the 2017
Homecoming Committee.
The 2016 Homecoming King and Queen must introduce the candidates at the 2017
Homecoming Court Presentation.
The new King and Queen may be involved in other traditional events throughout the
2016-2017 school years.
The 2016 Homecoming King and Queen will each receive a $100 book scholarship
for the Fall 2016 semester.
