Conditional Approval
Department reviewers have completed the review of the APSU Interdisciplinary
Concentration for Early Childhood Education PreK-3 licensure program proposal.
Based on the preliminary review, the Department’s Office of Teacher Education and
Accreditation is granting conditional approval for APSU to proceed with
implementation of the program until a program approval visit occurs, following which
final approval will be considered.
The proposal reviewers indicated the program presented appears to address all the
applicable candidate standards and program implementation standards required by
the State Board of Education’s Licensure Standards and Induction Guidelines. If you
