Target Audience
This program has been designed for physicians, pharmacists, professional nurses, advanced practice nurses, social
workers therapists and radiation in the medical specialties of oncology.
Series Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
 Utilize evidence based data for treating patients with breast cancer

Create an interdisciplinary approach to management of patients with breast cancer to ensure best evidence
based care possible

Use accurate TNM staging in breast cancer to improve evidence based treatment

Nurses: The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Nursing Education, Innovation and Professional
Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the PA State Nurses Association, an accredited
approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Physicians: The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania designates this live activity for a

It is policy at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the Hospital of the University of
Pennsylvania, Department of Nursing Education, Innovation and Professional Development for individuals who are in a
