Prerequisites are EST 131 and EST 132 or instructor permission. STUDENT LEARNING ASSESSMENTS Attendance 20% Participation Quizzes 20% 40% Final Exam 20% Attendance is a crucial component to this course. Each student may take 2 Unexcused Absences from lecture and 1 Unexcused Absence from lab without penalty. After that, each additional Unexcused Absence in lecture or lab will result in a 2% deduction in your overall grade Actively engaging in lecture and completing all lab activities. Every 2nd Thursday a QUIZ will be given on the material covered throughout the 2 weeks and CANNOT be made up or retaken. Each QUIZ accounts for 10% of your overall grade. A cumulative Final will be given at the end of the course covering all of the material discussed throughout the quarter.
