Hello All SPD delegates,
Hi my name is Allison Surber, I am a senior at Edison and I will be your chair for
the conference. I have been on MUN for four years, and have been to New York, Davis,
and will be going to Italy, Switzerland, and Berkeley through this program. I was on
Varsity Song for 2 years and love to dance, but it wasn’t really for me, so I am spending
my senior year focusing on ASB. I have been on ASB for two years and am currently
Vice President. However apparently that gets you nowhere in life because i didn’t even
get a senior parking spot at school. I work at Great Maple in Fashion Island and I am the
hostess with the mostest. My favorite food would probably be coffee ice cream, and I
have a 2 year old goldendoodle named Harlow who is the best dog ever. I look forward to
having rapid fire debate on the Senkaku islands, and the rights of indigenous people. Im
excited to get to meet you all, and were going to have a great weekend.
Hello I am Garrett Babbitt, I am a senior at Edison High School and I am your
chair for the Edison MUN Advanced Conference. I have been in the MUN for 4 years
and through the program I have been to New York, and Davis and later on in the year I
will be going to Italy and Switzerland with my MUN class. I was on varsity soccer for 2
years but I am not playing anymore and I am now focusing on ASB as the boys athletic
commissioner. This is my first year on ASB but it has been a blast so far. In my free time
I like to hang with my friends, browse the internet and watch good tv such as Breaking
Bad, Sons of Anarchy and Game of Thrones. I really look forward to having heated
debate in committee and to see all your beautiful faces.
