Region 6 meeting is Next Friday, November 19th in Santa Barbara Atsiylah (Atty) Garfinkel, our region 6 student body coordinator sent the following message. In my efforts to plan a region VI training day event, I've done a few things. First Kevin Feleciano of Ohlone College has agreed to fly to Santa Barbara to do a training event. I'm talking with teachers in communication and leadership about the possibilities of them doing work shops too. I've talked to my adviser and we are talking about SBCC hosting the event and covering Kevin's costs. Basically we are looking at doing a mini region wide version of general assembly to help us all be better leaders and student advocates. These are the dates she is looking at to host the event: November 20th (this would be an overnight stay since the region 6 meeting is the Friday before) Saturday, December 4th, Sunday, December 12th, or Sunday, December 19th I would like to send 4 reps if possible.
