Saw Filer Level 1 Saw Filer Level 2 2015-2016 Admission Information Next Intake: Spring 2016 Length: 6 weeks Next Intake: Spring 2016 Length: 4 weeks Admission Requirements Admission Requirements To begin an apprenticeship to become a circular saw filer, it is recommended that students complete 840 hours of work-based training working in a saw filing room and assisting saw filers in their work prior to entering Level 1 Technical Training Apprentice must secure an employer who is approved to provide on-the-job training in saw filing and is willing to register the apprentice and record their performance Grade 10 education (English 10, Math 10, and Science 10 – Grade 12 is preferred). Assessment To complete an assessment test ($35), applicants will be given a referral form from the Admissions Office to take to the Library Centre.
