Content (PGES 1A: Demonstrating Knowledge of Content and Pedagogy) a. Identify the enduring skills, concepts, and processes that your students should master by the end of the Learning Sequence. b. Candidate Professional Growth: W h a t do you know about the skills, concepts, and processes of your learning sequence topic? W h a t do you need to learn and/or review about the skills, concepts, and processes of your learning sequence topic? W h a t plan of action will you take to learn and review the skills, concepts, and processes of your learning sequence topic before teaching? (e.g. study credible texts, discuss with peers and/or supervisors, do the work your students will do. 2. Students (PGES 1B: Demonstrating Knowledge of Students) a. Identify your students’ abilities regarding the identified enduring skills, concepts, and processes for your class. Discuss with your cooperating teacher what your students already know about your learning sequence topic and briefly describe your findings. b.
