PGES GOALS
• Every child in every classroom will be taught by a highly
effective teacher.
• Every school in every district will be led by a highly
effective principal.

Why a new system now?
USED ESEA Flexibility TLE Requirements
Used for continual improvement of instruction/student
achievement
 Differentiate performance using at least three performance
levels
 Use multiple valid measures, including a significant factor of
student growth
