This is something that you will update as new concepts are learned. You can save it and always have a copy for your future Spanish Journeys. (Students in Spanish 3 say it helped them so much) These are the Grammar Concepts we have learned so far this semester. You will make a slide for each concept and include a table of contents at the beginning so that they are easy to find when you need them. For each slide, please include an explanation of the concept, a visual, and an example of how it is used (in Spanish) Feel free to use more than 1 slide per concept if you need! 1. Stem-changing Verbs (Boot verbs) o to ue (dormir and poder) / e-I (pedir and servir) 2. Gustar and Verbs like Gustar (Include gustar, encantar, faltar, interesar) –Explain IOPs (me,te,le,nos,os,les) 3. Affirmative and Negative Words (algo/nada, alguien/nadie, alguno/ninguno) and the use of the double negative in Spanish.) 4. How to make Superlativos con ísimo (Note spelling changes and when to use “císimo”) 5. Reflexive Verbs – Regular Conjugations (When do you use the Infinitive Construction) 6. Affirmative COMMANDS –REGULAR and Irregular (pronoun placement) 7. Negative Tú Commands- Regular and Irregular (pronoun placement) 8. Reflexive Commands/ commands with Pronouns (IOP/DOP and Reflexives) These three concepts are learned in our final unit for this semester. 9. The Present Progressive (Estar + Present Participle) 10. Forming Adverbs with –mente 11.
