My Duties Included:
Airbus A400M Wing Harness Manufacture ME Support
Writing manufacturing ASP instructions and packaging instructions for Airbus A400M military wing
harnesses offload program to FE Turkey, ME support to shop floor manufacturing operatives.
Writing manufacturing instructions for Airbus A400M in-flight refuelling harnesses GKN/Cobham work
package to comply to Airbus AIPI and AIPS standards. Using Airbus PRIMES and Windchill ECN and BOM
updates to check harness drawings and reporting any changes to manufacture. Preparing Bom’s in BAAN
and supporting ECN’s Airbus QD228’s for A400M wing harness changes in Filton and Seville FAL for
aircraft MSN8 to 15.
Bombardier C Series 1311 Aircraft ME Support
Supervising the manufacture of Bombardier service panels and wiring assembly work package for the new
FTV1 and 2. Updating manufacturing instructions and Bom’s. Attending daily meetings with Bombardier
personnel and writing First Article Inspection documentation.
Engine Harness Manufacture ME Support
Creating customer specification compliance matrix documentation for Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce,
Hamilton Sundstrand customer standard requirements for Fokker Elmo Electrical harness manufacture.

Sept 2007 – April 09 Kembrey Wiring Systems Ltd: Electrical Harness Validation Engineer
Translate BAe drawings, BCAPE specifications, BAe Condition of Supply (COS) and BAe process sheets
into KWS manufacturing process documents to facilitate effective and efficient production of aircraft and
aero-engine, armaments, and communication wiring loom systems for the new BAe Nimrod MRA4 Aircraft
for both BAe Woodford and BAe Brough sites. Tools used in this process included: BAe PEGS, BCAPE,
BCORD, Engineering Query Notes (EQN’s) and COS procedures. Successful validation of 1460 wiring
looms for each aircraft, namely: PA4, 5, 6, 7, 8.to 15.
Sept 04 – Nov 05:
Airbus UK Ltd: Manufacturing Procurement Engineer
Evaluating Potential supplier’s ability to manufacture electrical harnesses to Airbus standards and
manufacturing techniques, and recommending the company best suited to supply Airbus UK. A member of
the Manufacturing Functional Team making strategic decisions regarding resources and purchasing
decisions for the new military A400M Transport Aircraft: manufacture of 34 electrical harnesses “design &
build” and S33 Electrical Harness “offload” A320 work packages, and A380 wing harness. Duties also
include interviewing suppliers, writing technical and bid response reports, attending MFT meetings,
presentations, First Article Inspections, and site visits to manufacturing facilities.
Sap Interrogator Course. Related experience includes PEGS, and Airbus Specification and Quality Digest. I
was part of the team that successfully awarded the making of the A400M wing harnesses to Fokker-Elmo
BV based in Holland.
