Avon High School can nominate two students to progress on to the interview stage of the selection process at IU. In past years, winners of the Wells Scholarship ranked in the top 5% of their graduating class and had an average combined SAT score of 1430. Applications can be picked up in the ALC Guidance Office. Those interested in joining this year should attend the meeting to find out details about our club. Any girl who is interested in playing basketball this year and missed the call-out meeting on Tuesday, needs to attend a meeting Thursday morning from 7:30-7:50 in room A105. If for some reason you cannot attend, see Coach Cupp in A105 or Coach Keller in B106. The Avon Boys Soccer program is hosting a car wash fundraiser this Saturday, August 17th from 10am4pm. The car wash will take place at the Arby's on Rockville Road. Please come and get your car washed and support the boys soccer program at the same time!
