Corporate Scholarship
The Corporate Scholarship is a scholarship programme in collaboration with ALC Corporate Partner that promotes
applicants to establish a strong foundation for their future and lead them to realisation of their greatest goals.
We seek well rounded and talented individuals, who have demonstrated leadership skills in the schools, as well as
in sports, social work or other areas. Recipients of this scholarship will be able to pursue courses at ALC College
and progress to our international partner universities – a momentous step towards pursuing their life’s dreams and
ambitions. They will also be absorbed into the ALC Corporate talent pipeline upon completion of their courses.

kemudian” is my personal advice to all students because
there is no easy way or shortcuts in anything we do in
life. To be successful, one must be focused on their goals
Today, with the shining new branch campus, The
Lighthouse at PKT Logistics Group’s corporate
headquarters situated along KESAS Highway, ALC
College stands ready to equip all students who graduate
here with on-site training on a day-to-day basis. I have
always believed that “If doctors could be taught in a
hospital, why not future logisticians in a top logistics
centre”. This belief drove me to build this Lighthouse
campus within my logistics hub, so that all students could
have direct access to the latest technologies, methods
and state-of-art equipment while studying here. ALC
College is also part of PKT Logistics Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) foray into education, which is my
dream to make every graduate that comes onboard with
us highly marketable and sought after in this industry.
With numerous challenging moments in every student’s
future, it is my dream and belief that all of the graduates
will be fully ready to conquer all challenges, outshine the
rest to be the best.
As I have posted on my Facebook, “Don’t look near,
look far. You will see the beauty of everything that’s
happening”, I believe that by bearing this in mind and
cultivating a lifelong learning spirit, a bright future
beckons for all of you.

Applicable to new applicants who are registering at ALC College for 2016 intakes.
Awarded in the form of tuition fee waiver only.
All scholarships and bursaries are neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash.
Students receiving scholarship / financial assistance / bursaries from other bodies or institutions are not eligible for Dato’ Michael Tio’s Scholarship
and Bursary.
5. Scholarships and bursaries will be awarded to qualified applicants based on fund availability.

7. The duration of the scholarship will end upon completion of the study period specified by ALC College.
8. The Terms & Conditions of the Dato’ Michael Tio’s Scholarship and Bursary are correct at the time of printing and may be modified or amended from

Eligibility
• Must be a Malaysian.
• Minimum 3 Credits in SPM/UEC/O-Level.
• Pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah for
SPM Student.
• Applicable for Full-time Diploma and Degree
Programme (Offer in ALC College).
• Must have obtained an Offer Letter
from ALC College.
• Subject to terms and conditions of PTPTN.
*The value of the loan is subject to student’s
family income (please refer to www.ptptn.gov.my)

EPF WITHDRAWAL SCHEME
Eligibility
• Must be an EPF member and/or EPF
member’s children.
• Applicable for all Full-time Diploma and
Degree Programme offer by ALC College.

• The value of award is up to the total tuition fees,
or entire balance in Account II, whichever
is lower.
• Members may apply for withdrawal in each
funds in Account II.

*Scholars have to maintain a GPA of 3.50 and above for
every semester in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
7As - 8As (50% of Total Tuition Fee)
*Scholars have to maintain a GPA of 3.70 and above for
every semester in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
9As and above (100% of Total Tuition Fee)
*Scholars have to maintain a GPA of 3.85 and above for
every semester in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

PROGRESSING SCHOLARSHIP
Applicable to ALL Degree Programmes offer by ALC.
Diploma CGPA 3.50 & above (20% of Degree Tuition Fee)
*Scholars have to maintain a CGPA of 3.50 and above for
every semester in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
Diploma CGPA 3.70 & above (50% of Degree Tuition Fee)
*Scholars have to maintain a CGPA of 3.70 and above for
every semester in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
Diploma CGPA 3.85 & above (100% of Degree Tuition Fee)

STUDY IN UK SCHOLARSHIP
UEC
Full or Partial Scholarship will be awarded to shortlisted
ALC College Top Achievers.
6 Best Subjects (24 points) (25% of Total Tuition Fee)
*Scholars have to maintain a GPA of 3.50 and above for
every semester in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
6 Best Subjects (16 points) (50% of Total Tuition Fee)

Upon completion of studies, graduates will receive a
“no-string attached’ job offer by PKT Logistic Group.

• 10% tuition fee waiver for the entire duration
