Your Met dictionary:
Homecoming (def.) when someone returns to former home, an occasion when someone returns to a place
where they used to live, work, or study
Friends (def,) someone you know well and like, but who is not a member of your family
Hospitality (def.) friendly and generous behavior toward visitors and guests, intended to make them feel
welcome
Auction (def.) occasion for selling things to highest bidder; a public occasion when things are sold to the
people who offer the most money for them
Registration (def.) process of making arrangements to take classes; the process of making the arrangements to
take classes at a particular school
Schedule (def.) plan of times for activities or events
MOCNA (def.) Metropolitan Owners Club of North America, an organization whose members are interested in
the history, maintenance and preservation of the Metropolitan automobile
Met owners and MOCNA members are invited to attend the Kenosha Homecoming Car Show and MOCNA
Regional meet. This event, hosted by the Illini Mets and Met Set of Wisconsin, will be held in Kenosha, WI,
from July 24-27, 2014. You will enjoy this gathering of all cars in the Nash/Rambler families, which includes the
Met., as well as the hospitality of our two chapters.
We have planned some special events for our Met friends around the country including those Wisconsin
traditions, a Friday Fish Fry, brats and beer, ice cream social, car cruises, and a Chinese Auction, in addition to
the Car show, all of which add up to a fun experience.
