Instructional Innovations
Use of Stanford Bank Management Simulation in FNCE 4520 as a tool to apply concepts
covered in FNCE 4447 and FNCE 4500 courses. As a capstone course, draws on materials from
a number of earlier courses, with emphasis on teamwork, analytical, written, and oral
communications skills.
Instituted “Banker in the Classroom” program in FNCE 4520, utilizing local bankers to share
“real world” experiences and to serve as presentation evaluators on various topics.
