We will discuss the working and living conditions they endured. MONDAY: HOMEWORK: VOCABULARY SENTENCES ARE DUE TOMORROW (D15) TUESDAY: HOMEWORK IS DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PERIOD TODAY. Today, students will view a video on the different slave revolts that occurred in and around Mississippi. We will discuss these revolts and how they affected the lives of slaves. (D15) WEDNESDAY: Students will begin the day with a writing assignment based on the information from Monday and Tuesday. After the writing assignment, we will discuss other aspects of life in antebellum Mississippi. This includes education, transportation, economy, and religion. (D17, D19, D20, D21) HOMEWORK: CHAPTER 4 CROSSWORD PUZZLE HOMEWORK IS DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PERIOD THURSDAY: Today, students will be introduced to an individual project that will count as a test grade. Students will research and create an iMovie or PowerPoint on several people and events that we will study in the coming chapters. Students will have class time to research and create their projects.
