Varsity Boys’ Basketball

Salary: TBD (based on experience)
The Boys’ Varsity Coach will coach the Boys’ varsity basketball team and coordinate the entire
boys’ basketball program—varsity and junior high.
Description:







Be present at all practices and meets as per schedule.
Find qualified, well-trained assistant coaches to help in the day-to-day operations.
Maintain an off-season program and be involved with summer camps.
Oversee the junior high coaches and programs.
Provide leadership that helps optimize the kingdom education of the students.
Build opportunity for interaction and engagement with parents.
Instill a biblical worldview perspective within assigned areas of responsibility.
Must have relevant experience, head basketball coaching experience at the varsity level
preferred; will consider assistant coaching experience. Must be a believer in Christ and
demonstrate a lifestyle consistent with the teaching of Scripture. Must accept and sign the Moral
Integrity Statement for East Dayton Christian. If hired, applicant will need to complete an
FBI/BCI background check, First Aid/CPR training course and NFHS Concussion Training
Course (all at the expense of the East Dayton Christian Athletic Department via reimbursement).
