Erasmus Mundus Human Rights Policy and Practice Visiting Scholar Application Form – Guidance Notes APPLICATION DEADLINE: 30th April 2016 The EM HRPP visiting scholar initiative aims to bring together researchers and professionals from a range of settings and with a common interest in the field of Human Rights Policy and Practice. This will be both an opportunity to engage with different ideas and research findings in relation to Human Rights, and an opportunity to network with colleagues from a wide range of countries. There will be a particular emphasis put on what expertise you can bring to support the students studying on this programme. Procedures and key dates: Applications should be submitted to EMHRPP@roehampton.ac.uk and Erasmusadmissions@roehampton.ac.uk by 30th April 2016. Authors will receive an email notifying them of the results by 30th June 2016. VISITING SCHOLAR ROLE: Network with staff and students – creating opportunities for further institutional networking and collaboration. Take part in activities for engagement with students and staff. Contribute to seminars/talks at the institution(s) for students and staff. Conduct a short research project and write a report of the experiences and research during the time. Act as a critical friend – interacting with and supporting students. Be invited/encouraged to present a paper on an area related to their area of interest and expertise.
