Vice President, Investment Consultant
External Sales – San Diego, CA
Chandler Asset Management is a 100% employee-owned firm, managing over $6.5
billion in assets. We concentrate on managing fixed income in order to best serve the
unique needs of our safety-minded clients. This focus allows us to deliver service we are
proud of and pursue optimal long-term results. We are currently building our retail sales
group and are looking to add a seasoned sales professional to the team.
The Vice President, Investment Consultant will represent our firm and our fixed income SMA
strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for business development across all
retail distribution channels. The position will cover clients and prospects throughout the
United States and will be based in our San Diego headquarters.
Duties will include:
 Prospect, establish and build new relationships across a variety of distribution
channels
 Ability to communicate Chandler’s investment processes and philosophy
 Solid understanding of the capital markets and competitive landscape
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Polished public speaking and presentation skills
 Excellent organizational and planning skills, particularly around time management
and prioritization
 Results driven, ability to meet and exceed goals
 Ability and flexibility to travel extensively
 High energy, self-motivated and exhibits a commitment to excellence
 5+ years track record of success in the financial services industry
Education, Experience and other Requirements:
 Series 65 license (required within the first year)
 Bachelor’s Degree
 Travel 60% +
