Review of Minutes – all minutes are out on the Website now where they can be reviewed.
Legal Legal aid was unable to help us. Jane reaching out to McCuiston Law Offices, 200 Towne Village
Dr, Cary 919-467-4400 to try and get assistance (pro bono). Jane to review by-laws to check (if officers
can be added / removed as needed, membership fees change to amount and change of address). Check
for late fee in by-laws.
Communications – Wayne sent out survey & has the results. Minutes have been updated and partners
icons have been updated. Wayne will add events to the calendar – Donna will forward e-mails regarding
events to Wayne. Wayne updated the e-mail and will send to board members so everyone has it. Jane
to revise calendar and send to Wayne to post. March 8th – Dig In, April 24th – What’s on your plate?,
Western Wake Farmer’s Market – Education Tent – April 12th & June 21st.
Misc - Ideas for Ann – something on our web page, perhaps a bench (maybe a green one similar to what
is already being used in the Town of Morrisville)?
Garden Topics – Don took the tiller in for repair (Pittsboro) and it is ready to be picked up. Jane to
update the #s for harvest. 50# of seed potatoes are available for $25. Jane to try and call Christine.
Outreach, Education & Volunteers - Press release – Cary News – Sandra could meet Aliana at the
garden at some point. Donna to send Jane info on where to pick up the sign.
Treasury Report – Reported bank balance / bills paid / membership dues collected. Jane to check with
insurance agent about reduced premiums.
