Jane Lewis, SPHR, GPHR
Jane Lewis, certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, has over
twenty-five years of experience in Human Resource Management and
Organizational Development. She has held senior-level human resource
positions in a variety of industries including healthcare and financial services
and served in a generalist role in retail, construction, and manufacturing.
Currently, Jane works in the Organizational Effectiveness area of the
corporate Human Resources Department for HCA. HCA is the nation’s
largest provider of healthcare services with hospitals and outpatient
surgery center in 23 states, England and Switzerland. Her areas of
expertise include development of competency models, employee and
customer engagement strategies and design of training curriculum for
supervisors and managers. Her current project for HCA is the development
of an HR competency model and HR development as part of their HR Service
Delivery Model.
Jane previously held the position of Regional Vice President Human
Resources and Organizational Development for the Delta Division of HCA.
The Delta Division included hospitals, clinics, surgery centers and outpatient
imaging and oncology services in Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Jane has served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Temple Inland
Financial Services, Corporate Director Compensation and Benefits for NPC,
nation’s largest privately held construction and real estate company. Jane
was also a partner in the consulting company, Creative Learning Works which
served clients in the entertainment, transportation, state government, and
high tech industries.
Jane is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin in
Human Resources management. She also serves as an instructor for a
variety of programs sponsored by the Society for Human Resource
Management. Jane has served in a variety of leadership positions in
professional associations, charitable organizations and community workforce
development initiatives.
