CIS customer care and billing system to underpin its entry into both the domestic and commercial UK gas
and electricity supply markets. The decision to choose the Junifer Utilities CIS has propelled GB Energy
Supply into the UK gas and electricity supply market in double-quick time – less than three months from
initial contracts to deployment of the customer-ready system.

Junifer Utilities CIS is a complete end-to-end system that solves the unique challenges presented by both
smart meter and traditional billing requirements. The software supports automated processing of interval
meter readings for gas, electricity and water to a granularity of half an hour. This enables operators to offer
innovative price plans to both reduce churn and attract new customers while also helping customers to
reduce their overall energy bills and carbon consumption. Junifer Systems’ Utility CIS is a highly scalable
and flexible product suite comprising Customer Relationship Management and Billing modules at its core
