TERMS AND CONDITIONS





It is expected that Tutors are afforded total
respect and consideration at all times, and that
the following terms and conditions are adhered
to.
Students enrolling in Co-Curricular Performing
Arts are committing to a full year of tuition (i.e.
until the end of Term 4, - with the exception of
Year 12 students).
The full year tuition is divided into four payments
for each school term. Tutors issue an invoice that
is to be paid directly to them upon receipt.
If you intend to withdraw your daughter from an
area of tuition, written advice (letter or email)
must be given before the end of the current term
notifying your Tutor and the Performing Arts CoCurricular Administrator.
Note: If adequate notice of withdrawal is not
received, you will be charged in full for the
following term.
RESCHEDULING LESSONS
If you wish to reschedule a lesson, 48 hours’ notice
must be given directly to the Tutor. This includes
incursions and excursions, lesson changes due to
assessments, and any other school absences. Lessons
missed without prior notification will not be made up
by the Tutor.
Performance is integral to the Performing Arts Program
at St Vincent’s College. All students are expected to
accept performance opportunities enthusiastically and
participate in school ensembles and events related to
their area of tuition, as their Tutor will encourage them
to do. It is also expecteded that music students will
seek to be actively involved in the ensemble which best
suits the instrument of their focus, and attend regular
rehearsals at the scheduled times.
INSTRUMENT HIRE
Although it is recommended that all students have
their own instruments, some are available for hire
from St Vincent’s College for a fee of $50 per term. In
hiring an instrument, parents undertake to maintain
its condition at the time of hire. If the instrument is
damaged or lost by negligence, the instrument must
be repaired or replaced by the parents. Parents must
ensure the instrument is covered by their House and
Contents insurance.
