Urban Yoga and Lou Chapman to Benefit the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition at the Holiday Season
Fort Worth’s Urban Yoga and certified Anusara® yoga teacher Lou Chapman are combining to benefit the
Tarrant County Homeless Coalition during the holiday season.
The studio is designating its weekly donation-based classes on Friday afternoons in December to benefit
the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition. Lou, who offers a regular schedule of yoga classes separately from
Urban Yoga, is offering the first two sessions to benefit the coalition (Dec. 2 and 9). Urban Yoga owner
and director Brook Barrow will lead the sessions on Dec. 16 and 23.
Urban Yoga, 1706 Eighth Ave., offers a weekly donation-based class every Friday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
Teachers lead the classes without pay. Students participate on a donation basis. A designated charitable
organization receives all of the proceeds from each Friday’s class.
The classes are 75 minutes and totally suitable for all levels of students.
Urban Yoga’s parking lot and studio entry are located in the back of its building, off of Allen Street.
Students should follow the ramp that leads to the small back porch and into the space.
