Math:

Language Arts and Reading:

Academic Vocabulary List-
modal auxiliary verb- relates a possibility or
necessity of an action. (ex. can, may, must, should,
will, might)
dividend- a number to be divided by another number.
divisor- a number by which another number is to be
divided.
theme- the central idea or message of a story, drama,
or poem.
inference- an educated guess about a passage based on
author’s clues and the reader’s prior knowledge.
variable- a letter or symbol used to represent a value
that is unknown
