Approval of Special Event Permit for
Friends of the Kennedy Martin Stelle Farmstead, Inc. DBA Farmstead Arts for the Farmstead
Arts Duck Race and Arts Festival on June 8, 2013
WHEREAS, Ann Osterdale Rosenblum representing Friends of the Kennedy Martin Stelle
Farmstead, Inc. DBA Farmstead Arts, 450 King George Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 “the
applicant,” has requested a special event permit for June 8, 2013, from 9 AM to 6 PM for the
purpose of holding a duck race and arts festival which includes the display of a temporary
banner, food concessions and park facility use; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has satisfied the requirements of the Revised General Ordinances of
the Township of Bernards § 4-4. et. seq.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Clerk, Health Officer, Recreation Director, Zoning Officer and Risk
Manager have reviewed the application in connection with this event.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Committee of the Township of
Bernards that the request for special event be approved, including the display of a temporary
banner, food concessions and park facility use.
