Explanatory Statement
The Township Municipal Court has been staffed with two Class II Special Officers. When one of the Officers announced his retirement, an analysis was conducted to determine the current needs and requirements as established by the A.O.C. and the Municipal Court. Based on this analysis, the staffing has been realigned to provide for a
Class II Special Officer and a Court Security Officer role. The new Court Security Officer role was established by
Ordinance in February. As per Township protocol, the Court Security Officer position was advertised and Mr. Gara applied and was offered the position. Mr. Gara has experience as a Court Security Officer. It is expected that he will serve the Township well in this new role.
