This role is flexible. Fundraising group volunteers can help us on a regular basis each month or a few times a year depending on availability
Main role:
To identify and approach corporate businesses to support the work of Redditch
Nightstop, building relationships, maximising the engagement and support of employees. and securing funding
To be a member of Redditch Nightstop’s Fundraising group
Role description:
To attend fundraising group meetings
To help develop and implement a strategy for corporate supporter recruitment and development
To develop long term relationships with local businesses to support the work of
Nightstop in terms developing employee volunteering, challenges, employee fundraising, payroll giving and being adopted as ‘Charity of the Year’
To oversee corporate fundraising, including employee giving and matched giving from employees
To manage and update databases to record corporate contact and preference information
Contribute to Redditch Nightstop’s newsletter
Marketing events and/or speaking to the media
Raising awareness of the charity and its work at local levels, e.g. by giving talks to businesses or seeking photo opportunities with the media
To attend volunteer training and/or networking events where relevant to your role at least once in a one year period
To liaise and meet with the Volunteer Coordinator for regular support and supervision
To meet with the Volunteer Coordinator for an annual review
