How is estimation helpful when finding a product mentally? How can estimation be used to check multiplication problems for reasonableness? How can the Distributive Property help when you are multiplying by a two-digit number? How is multiplying by multi-digit numbers similar to multiplying by two-digit numbers? Why do products of multi-digit numbers with zeros and one-digit numbers sometimes have zeros in them and sometimes have no zeros in them? How can I communicate multiplication? How can I multiply by a two-digit number? How can place value help me multiply a two-digit number b a multiple of 10? How does an estimated product relate to the actual product? Why can’t the product of two two-digit numbers ever be two digits? How can I use equations to model real-world problems?
