SUURPELTO WASTE MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTION
Houses in Suurpelto are connected to a modern waste collection system that is good for the
environment. Boxes for bio waste, mixed waste and waste paper are located in the yards of
condominiums. Once the inlets are full the waste automatically goes to the waste terminal.
HOW TO SORT HOUSEHOLD

The hole of garbage can is
25 cm. Plastic bags over 25
liters won’t fit through the
hole.
You can get proper plastic bags

Pack biowaste in compostable material. Let leftover food dry and pour
liquids into a drain so that the waste is not too moist.

mixed waste.
MIXED WASTE is waste material that cannot be reused or collected for
reclamation purposes.
