God bless each and every one you! When the time comes as it surely will, when we face that awesome moment, the final judgment, I've often thought, as Fulton Sheen wrote, that it is a terrible moment of loneliness. You have no advocates, you are there alone standing before God and a terror will rip through your soul like nothing you can imagine. But I really think that those in the pro-life movement will not be alone. I think there will be a chorus of voices that have never been heard in this world but are heard beautifully and clearly in the next world and they will plead for everyone who has been in this movement. They will say to God, "Spare him because he loved us," and God will look at you and say not, "Did you succeed?" but "Did you try?" ~ Henry Hyde ~ Lake County Right to Life PO Box 1750 Mentor, Ohio 44061 440-255-5257 www.lakecountyrighttolifeohio.com “Respecting the dignity of the human person at all stages.” lcrtl@ncweb.com Autumn From the Director Hello all! My apologies for a later than usual newsletter! We have been busy at Lake County Right to Life and are gearing up for more life-saving projects for the remaining part of the year! We had a very busy summer! We sponsored our very first ever Teen Night Done Right in partnership with LifeSpring Church and H.E.L.P.. It was a beautiful evening with 70 people in attendance. The night involved music, food, games and speakers. This is a family friendly event that focuses on our teens and offers them a positive life affirming message! We are already planning the second annual one for August 16, 2014! Once again, we were present at the Painesville Party in the Park event. Thank you to all of our faithful volunteers who manned the table for the three day event! The final summer event we attended was the Fest. We moved 180 pro-life t-shirts, all of our 12 week model babies, most of our precious feet pins, all of our precious baby shoe pins, bumper stickers, etc.! What a blessing to be able to share the pro-life message with so many people! We delivered many baby blankest to local agencies and provided the Cleveland sidewalk counsellors with baby hats and booties to give to the moms who choose life for their babies. We also supplied Pastor Walt Moss with 100 or so MAAFA 21 DVDs for his black pro-life ministry. I was privileged to be able to speak at the Patriot Day event in Conneaut and share a message which calls each and every one of us to repentance, daily conversion and prayer. We also made the news with our recent mission statement change which now includes the defense of traditional marriage. We believe that this is a pro-life issue because when marriage and family are attacked, the children suffer and we must protect them. Also, we promote the dignity of all persons at all stages. This includes same sex attracted people. Their dignity must be protected as well, and that protection is guaranteed by following God’s plan for human sexuality and marriage. Please keep Lake County Right to Life in your prayers! We strive to do God’s will in the issues of life and human dignity and we need your prayers and financial support to help us do just that!
