WOODEND TENNIS SECTION – 2016 SPRING TERM TENNIS COACHING
Our itinerary for the forthcoming spring term coaching is as follows:
Monday Afternoons January 18th, 25th, February 1st, 8th, 22nd, 29th, March 7th, 14th, 21st.
1.30-2.15pm Tots Tennis Class – Introduction to tennis with coordination and hitting exercises. This
class is for preschool children aged 3, 4 or 5. Parents and guardians are required to take part as well.
Cost £4 per class.
4-5pm Mini Tennis Afternoon, Ages 5-10. Children will be put into age and/or ability groups. BLOCK
BOOKING ONLY.
5-6pm U14 Training session, Ages 11-13
BLOCK BOOKING ONLY
6-7pm U12 match training. For regular tournament standard players only. Please email with more
details for this class as this class has a strict min and max participant number.
Tuesday Afternoons January 19th, 26th, February 2nd, 9th, 23rd, March 1st, 8th, 15th,22nd.
4-5pm *NEW* Beginner Mini Red Tennis session. This class is for children that are new to tennis and
are in P1-P3.
4-5pm U16 Girls Training Session – For all girls aged 12 to 16.
5-6pm RED /ORANGE match training. For players aged 7-9 who are competent at red and orange level. Not
ideal for beginners. Please email for more details as this class has a strict min and max participant
number.
Wednesday Afternoons January 20th, 27th, February 3rd, 10th, 24th, March 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd.
4-5pm Mini Tennis Afternoon, Ages 5-10. Children will be put into age and/or ability groups. BLOCK
BOOKING ONLY.
5-6pm U14 Mixed Team Training Session.
6-7pm U18 Team Training Session
Thursday Mornings January 21st, 28th, February 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, March 3rd, 10th, 17th.
9.15 – 10.45am Adult Morning - This class is ideal for those adults who wish to practice through
match play drilling.
Thursday Afternoons January 21st, 28th, February 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, March 3rd, 10th, 17th.
4-5pm Mini Tennis Afternoon, Ages 5-10. Children will be put into age and/or ability groups. BLOCK
BOOKING ONLY.
5-6pm U16 Mixed Team Training Session, Ages 12-15.
6-7pm U18 Mixed Team Training Session.
Saturday Mornings January 23rd, 30th, February 6th,13th, 20th, 27th, March 5th, 12th, 19th.
10-11am Mini Tennis Red/Orange, Ages 5-10.
11-12pm Mini Green Morning, Ages, 9-10.
12-1pm U14 Boys Team Training.
Sunday Mornings January 24th, 31st, February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, March 6th, 13th, 20th.
9- 10.30am Adult Intermediates – Best suited for adults who play occasionally or who are new to the game.
10.30- 12 noon Adult Improvers -Ideally suited to those who play for a team at Woodend Tennis Club.
COACHING COSTS:
For the 1 hour sessions:
MEMBERS £35 FOR ANY 9 WEEK SESSION (PAID UP FRONT AT WEEK 1 OR WEEK 2) OR £5 FOR
ANYONE PAYING ON A PAY AS YOU PLAY BASIS.
NON MEMBERS £50 FOR ANY 9 WEEK SESSION (PAID UP FRONT AT WEEK 1 OR WEEK 2) OR £7 FOR
ANYONE PAYING ON A PAY AS YOU PLAY BASIS.
FOR THE 1 AND HALF HOUR ADULT SESSIONS:
MEMBERS £45 FOR THE 9 WEEK SESSION (PAID UP FRONT AT WEEK 1 OR WEEK 2) OR £7 FOR
ANYONE PAYING ON A PAY AS YOU PLAY BASIS.
NON MEMBERS £55 FOR THE 9 WEEK SESSION (PAID UP FRONT AT WEEK 1) OR £8.50 FOR ANYONE
PAYING ON A PAY AS YOU PLAY BASIS. NON MEMBERS MUST EMAIL THEIR BOOKING AND
PRE PAY FOR THE BLOCK IF BOOKING FOR A WHOLE BLOCK.
ALL BLOCK PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BEFORE FEBRUARY 4TH. PAYMENT VIA BANK TRANSFER IS
PREFERRED AND SAVES ME TIME AT THE TIME OF THE CLASSES (EMAIL FOR DETAILS). CASH OR
CHEQUES (BEFORE FEBRUARY 4TH ONLY) ARE ALSO ACCEPTED AS FORMS OF PAYMENT.
