Volcano Poster Project
Due Date: Friday, May 10, 2013 Name:
Day 1: IN THE COMPUTER LAB Begin research on your volcano/earthquake. Write the URL of any images you wish to use. Answer the
questions on the back of this paper. Print your images at home on a colored printer. If you do
not have one, try to use a friend’s. If you do not have one available, we will copy onto a thumb drive
and I will print them out later.
Day 2: IN THE COMPUTER LAB –
Finish researching and gathering images. Type the sections of information that you will put on
your poster.
Complete final touches on posters. The poster is due Friday, May 10th.
*This project will require you to do work outside of class. Save everything on the school network drive,
or if you have a thumb drive you can save it and you can work on it at home or school.

is very tempting to copy work from the Internet. Answer
the questions on the back of this sheet in YOUR OWN WORDS. The
information on the poster must be written by YOU. If the resource you are using is too wordy, then
you may want to use another that is easier to understand.
