Dear Candidates,
Application for graduate education in our university in the
fall semester of 2015-2016 academic year will be made
according to the principles stated in this guide.
You should examine the guide carefully and complete the
requested things so that the application and registration
procedures should be done correctly and rapidly.

I. ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS
In the fall semester of 2015-2016 academic year, applications to our institute
programs listed below for national and international students will be done online
between the application dates through internet.
Please read carefully given information below (application requirements, quota and
evaluation process) before the starting application.

VI. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION:
1-) Applications to general and international quota will done online via internet and
given information during application process will be accepted from candidates.
2-) Candidates must submit their undergraduate and master’s transcripts (which must
be printed and approved) declared in the online application process during
interview and registration period.
3-) Candidates application for lateral quotas will not accepted online, these candidates
will apply directly to the related institute.
Required documents for lateral transfer quota;
a) A copy of new issued and certified document from institute that indicates
student’s current education situation
b) Certified copy of transcript
c) Internet printout of exam result document of ALES or an equivalent exam
(like GRE, GMAT),
d) Internet printout of exam result document of YDS or an equivalent exam
(like TOEFL).
4-) Given information during online application process will be accepted from
candidates, thus information cannot be changed after you save.
NOTE: In case of contrary to the facts / misrepresentation or defectiveness
and alteration in the documents, exact registiration is not made; even if it
was the exact registration is canceled.
VII. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR EXACT REGISTRATION:
Candidates who are eligible to exact registration should deliver the related documents
written below within the time declared to the institute directorate personally:
1-)
Certified copy of undergraduate diploma or graduation certificate from notary or
relevant higher education institution for application to the Master programs and
certified copy of master diploma or graduation certificate from notary or relevant
higher education institution for application to the PhD programs.
(1 pcs)
Candidates who have graduated from higher education institutions abroad should
submit diplomas or graduation certificates with their Turkish translation. (1 pcs)

Certified copy of transcript which shows all of the grades of courses taken during
license and master education and grade point averages from notary or relevant
higher education institution. (1 pcs)
Candidates who have graduated from higher education institutions abroad should
submit transcript that includes grade point averages and Turkish translation of it.
(1 pcs)
3-)
Internet printout of exam result document of ALES or an equivalent exam.

Internet printout of exam result document of YDS or an equivalent exam.
5-)
8 pcs passport photo taken in the last six months from front and can introduce the
candidate easily (4,5 x 6 cm.).
6-)
Certified document about residing abroad of Turkish candidates who applied to
the quota of abroad. (1 pcs)
7-)
Photocopy of identity card (for foreign national, photocopy of residence permit
and document showing the number of foreign national.)
8-)
Notarized Turkish translation of pages that shows the credentials and the validity
period of the passport with student visa for foreign nationals (For Foreign
Student Information Form CLICK HERE). Candidates who certificate that they
have a valid residence permit shall not be required Student Visa during registry.
9-)
Declaration about the residence (For Residence Declaration Form CLICK
HERE).
10-) Military Status Certificate which will be taken from recruiting offices for male
candidates (shall not be required for foreign nationals.)
11-) "Turkish Proficiency" document or a certified copy which indicate that Foreign
candidates know the Turkish of Turkey
12-) The bank receipt about student contribution / tuition fee that is paid. (Payments
are made HALKBANK taking the reference number from Student Automation
System. Information about the bank and fees for non-thesis master programs should
be learned from the Institute.) (Foreign candidates and Turkish candidates
who reside abroad and will register from the abroad quota will have to
deposit the tuition fee.)
VIII. FOR THE ATTENTION OF CANDIDATES

Application will not accepted by post. Applications will be held online via
internet.

Given information to system cannot changed after you saved.

Candidates can apply only one of Master Programs with Thesis or
Ph.D. However, if requested, candidates can apply one of Master
program without thesis, too.

Candidates can apply maximum three programs for Institute of Business
Economy.

Application has to be made according to specific condition in 2015-2016
general quota table. Otherwise; candidates, apply not taking into account
of specific condition, will not be invited to the interview and applications
will be cancelled.

If there is no GPA out of 100 or out of 4,00 on the student's transcript or
diploma, Istanbul University conversion table will be based to change
GPA.

Transcripts are required to have with candidates who intent to apply
Institute of Science Graduate Programs during interview.
NOTE:
In case of contrary to the facts / misrepresentation or defectiveness
and alteration in the documents, exact registration is not made; even if
it was the exact registration is canceled.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY FOLLOWING NOTICE BEFORE THE APPLICATION

Candidates whom graduated and wish to apply programs must submit their
graduation grade point written on transcripts/diploma; but in case of not graduated
and studying in the last semester of undergraduate, current graduation grade point
acquired until last semestre must enter to the system.

Candidates; graduated or studying in the last semester of undergraduate, should
obtain a printed and approved transcripts from faculties before entering graduation
grade point to the system.

Candidates must submit their undergraduate and master’s transcripts (which must
be printed and approved) declared in the online application process during
interview and registration period.

Candidates will not accepted for interview process whom declared graduation grade
written on transcript/diploma are not verified by members of jury during interview.

Candidates who apply to Master's Degree Programs or PhD must graduate before
exact registration period and also submit their verified copy of diploma/graduation
documents to the institute during registration.

It will not be possible to be enroll in programs in case of not to submit
diploma/graduation document and other documents which stated in the conditions.

If there is no GPA out of 100 or out of 4,00 on the student's transcript or diploma,
Istanbul University conversion table will be based to change GPA.
