cavalcade of real stars never before assembled under one roof!!!
By invitation only, a single, personally hand select bird chosen by each champion participant will
comprise this small selection of 35 super birds…each one representing the reputation, prestige, and
quality of its renowned breeder in a “where only the best will do” event.
In addition to the 14 world-famous European champions, we have also invited only 20 of the
absolutely top American lofts to place one of their own birds in the auction…and see how they
compare to the world-famous European champions’ birds.

GERARD KOOPMAN: THE foremost name in the modern-day pigeon sport. Gerard has selected a special bird for his
oldest and best friend in the U.S.A.
JOS THONE: From the sprints to Barcelona, this is THE world’s most honored loft for the past 10+ years. Jos has sent
Doc a bird he was keeping only for himself following his own auction in December.
SILVERE TOYE: This International Hall of Fame fancier has sent a beautiful yearling down from 2 super champions, The
Invincible Montaubon from Casaert as well as Dali, his own super champ. These lines have been fantastic for Tony
Melucci, Frank McLouglin and other American aces.
HANS EIJERKAMP: From the world’s foremost breeding stud, De Ponderosa, Hans has sent his old friend a super
sprint/middle-distance bird from the lines of: the ’05, Merckx, Kannibal & Romario. What a combination!!!
ERIK LIMBOURG: The unique breeder of 6 National Ace Pigeons!!! Erik is not only a super champion, but possibly the
best selector of birds in our entire pigeon sport. He has selected a wonderful one from the Rauw Sablon, Lucky 85 for
his old friend’s club fund raiser.
NORBERT NORMAN: One of the all-time great lofts…from decades in the past to the present day. Winners of 1st
Nationals, International Barcelona, Africa’s Million Dollar Race, etc. Son Filip has selected a bird down from their current
wonder bird, Zorro. This bloodline is sought after all around the world. Thank you, Filip!!!
ROGER VEREECKE: Another of history’s all-time greats, as well as current champion. Roger is Belgium’s “Mr. Pau”.
2010 proved to be yet another year when Roger Vereecke won 1st NATIONAL PAU!!!! Here is a stud of birds among the
all-time elites….and Roger has sent a bird rich in these same lines.
GUIDO SEYS: A small loft; a small team: a humble, retired pipe-fitter owner…but a truly fantastic family of birds with a
huge record: Best loft of Belgium; 2 x 1st Europacup Barcelona; 1st Nat’l. Marathon; 2 x 1st Ace Young Bird Belgium; 2nd

MARC DE COCK: Winner of the Olympiad Race, South Africa 2001 (35 countries competing). Marc has assembled a
glittering array of top birds and national winners. He is a proud man, who wants his bird to represent him well in this
Auction of the Stars.
FAMILY DE PRUT: In Reusel, Holland, De Klak and De Prut dominated the sprint and middle distance for decades. Of all
the great birds Dr. Piaget has ever handled, the Ottenbros of De Prut was the single greatest. The Family DePrut has
selected a wonderful young cock line-bred to Ottenbros for his old friend in the Paterson Club. This is a can’t miss
opportunity.
HERMANS/HOEKSTRA: Perhaps the single greatest collection in the world. Dr. Piaget’s truest friend in the
pigeon sport is Jan Hermans. Gerard Koopman believes that the world’s single greatest collection of pigeons are at Jan
Hermans loft. Think about that, and image the quality of pigeon Jan will be sending to Dr. Piaget at his club’s fundraiser.
VAN HOVE-UYTTERHOEVEN: Perennial champions in the Antwerp Region A recent article in the Belgian
newspaper “De Duif”, the world’s leading pigeon publication, featured Van Hove-Uytterhoeven entitled “VAN-HOVEUYTTERHOEVEN: A NEVER ENDING STORY”. This Havenith based family has sent us a wonderful young hen directly out
of their best breeder. Other fanciers with great success from these birds are Koopman, Vandenabeele, Flor Engels, etc.
RIK HERMANS: Belgium’s current champion & Olympiad loft Sound the trumpets for a young star among the
stars!! Rik, son of Jan Hermans is a current champion flying only a small team from a small loft. He is at the very top of
the sport today in the great competition of the renowned Antwerp area. With birds from his father’s stock, Rik is on his
way to representing Belgium in the Olympiad in Poland in February 2011.
FAMILY EDER: Top authentic Delbar loft from the Netherlands
Papa Eder was a great, personal friend to the late Maurice Delbar. Today, the Family Eder are the proud owners of the
most complete and authentic family of real Debars in the Netherlands. They’ve won many national and international

Admission will be free. However, in an effort to reduce mishandling of
the birds those who wish to handle auction birds must register and pay a
$10 handling fee. This amount will be deducted from the cost of your
first bird purchased at the auction. No further handling charge will be
made.
