Based on what each one says, decide whether he or she is talking about a typical weekend or a typical weekday. Listen as people explain why they bought a particular item at a department store. Was it because: it had a good price; it was a good brand name; it fit well; or it was very stylish? Choose the correct answer on your answer sheet. Reading Three Reading activities will be included in the exam. A Spanish class had fun buying gifts for a Spanish-speaking family in their community last Christmas. Read the thank-you notes that the family sent to the class. Answer multiple choice questions based on what you read in the notes. Some Spanish-speaking students at your local elementary school were asked to write about their Christmas vacation. Read their statements; then answer multiple choice questions about their holiday. Do you like to go shopping, but you don’t like to be with a lot of people? Read the article about Margarita’s solution for this problem. Then answer multiple choice questions about the article.
