Metro State Honors Program Extracurricular Activity Menu Students must accumulate at least 15 (fifteen) points each academic year in order to remain in good standing in the Honors Program. The year is defined as beginning the day after Finals end in the spring semester, and ends the last day of classes the following spring semester. Students enrolled in fewer than 12 credits in a given semester will have their required extracurricular point totals reduced on a prorated basis. Whether or not a student enrolls in summer courses does not affect the number of required points. Unless otherwise stated, attendance at an event requires the student to signin at the event, or write a reflection paper to be submitted to the Honors Office. Students may suggest events or activities to be included in their extracurricular point total. Suggestions will be reviewed by the Honors Directors on an on-going basis.
