Keep them home the rest of the week for your child’s
use.

* Fluency practice - Reading passages are in the
homework packet. Have your child read the passage and
record the number of words read in one minute. Repeat
this procedure on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights
answering the questions on the back. Please give the
feedback on how your child was able to read the passage.
This is not meant to frustrate.
*I am updating my parent email addresses so I can use
this as another form of communication from school to
home. Please send me an email indicating that you
have seen this note and let me know if emailing is
a good way to contact you throughout the school
year. lydia.mccollum@glynn.k12.ga.us
