Site Based Dress Code
1. Students must have shirts tucked in at all times.
2. Wear shoes at all times; specifically prohibited footwear includes cleats, skate shoes or any
shoes with wheels, or footwear not intended for outdoor wear.
3. Do Not wear hats, caps, sweat bands, visors, head coverings or bandannas in the building
(neither males nor females).
4. Campus administrators will not allow hair color that extends beyond natural tones or designs
cut in to the hair.
5. Do Not wear sunshades in the building or classrooms.
6. Do Not wear any clothing and/or jewelry that advertises or depicts tobacco products, alcoholic
beverages, drugs, or lewd, offensive, vulgar, obscene, violent writing, Old English writing,
violent images, or death and dismemberment.
7. Pierced/clipped jewelry (which includes spacers, retainers, or gauges) restricted to the ears
only.
8. Do Not wear any see-through styles or revealing fashions including bare midriffs, bare
shoulders, backless fashions, spandex, tight fitting clothing, sleep wear, muscle shirts, tank
tops, halter tops, miniskirts, or underwear garments that are worn as outerwear.
9. Jackets, hoodies, zipped/buttoned up sweaters, shrugs, and vests are not allowed in the
classrooms.
10. Wearing any apparel or accessories that separates students from the general student body into
small groups.
11. Do Not wear any dress, skirt, slit skirt or dress, slacks, jeans, pants, shorts or un-hemmed
attire when measured with the student standing, is more than three inches from the top of the
kneecap. The top of the slit in a skirt, dress, or shorts, must be no higher than three inches
from the top of the kneecap when the student is standing.
12. No tears, rips, or fraying in clothing will be allowed.
13. Do Not wear baggy or oversized pants (one size larger than actual measurements is allowed for
growth). Examples include the pant leg bottom or hem being larger than the shoe, the crotch of
pant sagging significantly below normal wear, pants having 12” or deeper rear pockets, and
pants where the size is beyond the “one size larger” provision around the waist. “Sagging” is
not allowed.
14. Apparel, accessories, hair color or hair styles that denote gang-related association is prohibited.
