A student missing one test will use their final exam score to replace it, via the optional final exam policy above. A student missing a second test may be allowed, at the instructor=s discretion and depending upon the reason the test was missed, to replace it with the final exam score as well. Additional missed tests will be recorded as zeros. HOMEWORK: Some homework problems will be turned in and graded. The average of these graded problems will form your Homework Average. Homework to be turned in is due at the start of the designated class. You may, and are encouraged to, consult with me or other students in the class on homework. But when writing up work to be turned in you should work on your own without referencing any resources other than your own course notes and textbook. Unless otherwise stated, you may not at any time consult with persons outside of class, the internet, or any books other than your textbook. If in any doubt about whether something is allowed, ask.
