The next Theosis Group meeting will be on Sunday, November 10, 2013, approximately 30 minutes after the
conclusion of the Ruthenian Divine Liturgy. We will discuss Essay 10, "Baptism, Holy Chrism, Holy Eucharist
and Confession" (p. 191-207) from Archbishop Raya's book The Face of God.
ANNUAL HOLIDAY ROLLS--Delicious Slavic-style sweetrolls- nut, poppyseed and apricot, will be
available for sale Nov. 7, 2013 at St John Byzantine Catholic Church. Limited quantities will be
made so pre-ordering is recommended. They will be available during the Holiday Season.
The cost is $12.00 a sweetroll (in bulk, 10 sweetrolls or more are $10.00 ea.)

Special Collection: Envelopes have been placed in your bulletins today for a collection
for the Visit of Metropolitan William. The planning committee has decided to cater the
picnic and brunch so any donations will help offset the costs associated. This includes
flowers, gift and accommodations for Metropolitan William.
Eastern Christian Formation Catechism is cancelled for today due to illness. The schedule for
classes to the end of the year are: Nov. 17 and Dec. 1 and 15.
Fr. Charles is leading a Discussion Group about “The Bible and Our Worship”. Come and join
us as we explore the biblical foundations of our Liturgy and Spirituality. The discussion group
meets this Saturday, Nov. 9 (Coffee at 9:30, Study/Discussion from 10am-1pm, a light lunch is
included). There is no cost for participation. Come, bring a friend and learn about the faith
through the sharing of experiences and histories.
