Weekday Divine Liturgy:
Ascension of Our Lord: Holyday of Obligation for ALL Byzantine Catholics, Thursday, 9
May 2013 at 5:00 P.M. The Propers may be found in the Green Book on pages 191-195
Friday, 17 May 2013: Divine Liturgy for the memory of Saint Andronicus Apostle and
Saint Junia and Companions at 5:00 P.M. The intention of this Divine Liturgy, shall be for All Souls
that we have remembered over the recently concluded Great Fast. The Propers may be found in the
Green Book on pages 370-372.
Mystery of Reconciliation: 45 minutes prior to Divine Liturgy, that being 15 after the hour
to quarter to the hour. Or by appointment.
General Announcements:
Help Wanted: The flat roof facing the Parish Presbytery is leaking. My estimation is that
it needs to be resealed. Perhaps, this can be done as a self help project? Additional repairs and
maintenance required to the Parish Property. We currently have loose concrete, presbytery porch
concrete crack and deteriorating chain link fence that needs to be attended to during the Spring of
2013. I thank you for the assistance rendered thus far!

After Divine Liturgy Social Hour: The date for the May, 2013 is Saturday, 11 May 2013.
As Father announced, previously, this is our Parish Celebration for Master John Patrick Brem, the
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Brem, as he completes his Mysteries of Initiation, with his First Time
Reception of the Eucharist, began 8 years ago! This celebration is at no charge to the Parishioners
of the Parish. We shall also, be remembering both our Living and Deceased Mothers in advance of
Mother's Day, 2013.
Preparations for Ascension of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: We have Paschal
Flowers in the Hallway. You are more than welcome to take these home for your domestic church
gardens, after Today's After Divine Liturgy Social!
The Grave shall be removed no later than Wednesday, 8 May 2013.
Parish Advisory Board: One of my requirements in serving you, is to have a Parish
Advisory Board. I have approached two individuals who are reflecting upon my personal request.
Our first meeting shall be scheduled in May, 2013.
Thank You: I wish to thank each of you who have helped me adjust to serve you the
Parishioners of Saint Joseph through the Mystery of The Incarnation being revealed unto us and the
Mystery of Pascha. I am not an island unto myself. My charter to you is to share the Traditions and
Kerygma of Our Venerable Eastern Catholic Church. I am not perfect but working together, we can
do many things with Faith and Trust in The Risen Christ.
