The British Tapestry group is delighted to announce that experienced community weaver, Diane Wood, co-Founder
of The Big Weave, will be leading a day of activities aimed at highlighting the potential of tapestry weaving as a
vehicle for supporting community cohesion – both the wider community as well as the community of tapestry
weavers themselves!
Registration is open from 10:30. Diane will be sharing her insights and experiences on The Big Weave Projects
through an illustrated talk. Following a chatty, informal lunch, a workshop session kicks off introducing innovative
approaches to using warp and weft to connect individuals.
For those keen to spend more time in the capital, there will be the chance of a shared supper in a local restaurant.
This exciting day is open to all, but will include a short Annual General Meeting for BTG Members only.
Tickets for the day: £20 per person to include light refreshments and all workshop activities
Attendance at the AGM is open to all BTG members and is free of charge but please inform us of your intention to
attend on the form below.
