Discipline Rule: In their complete program (57 credits) students MUST take at least 12 credits in at least one discipline, but cannot take more than 18 credits in any one discipline. Level Rule: In their complete program, at least 30 of the 57 credits must be at the 300 level or above; 9 credits of these (30 credits) must be at the 400 level or above. In the final year (U3), no program courses may be taken below the 300 level. Students MAY complete an Honours Thesis, or an Honours Thesis with Field research (INTD 490 or 491 or 492) as part of the 400 level requirements of their stream. INTD 499 will not normally fulfill program requirements for seminar or 400-level courses. Substitution Options: Are courses that are found to have relevant content applicable to the IDS program and particular theme of the Stream; and that are not currently listed in the IDS program but that are currently being reviewed by the Faculty for official addition to the program/stream.
