Program Rules & Policies: READ & FOLLOW VERY CAREFULLY (These rules apply to the entire 18 credits for the Minor
Concentration in IDS)





Level Rule: At least 9 of the 18 credits must be at the 300 level or above.
Discipline Rule: Students must complete the Minor Concentration with no more than 9 credits in total from any one discipline.
*Students in the Faculty of Management: pursuing the IDS Minor cannot take ECON 208. They will replace ECON 208 with any course of their
choice from the Introductory Complimentary Course options or from one of the Stream courses at the 200 or 300 level.
*Students pursuing programs (Major, Minor) in Economics: who have to/have completed ECON 230D1/D2 or ECON 250 D1/D2 cannot take ECON
208. They will replace ECON 208 with any course of their choice from the Introductory Complimentary Course options or from one of the Stream
courses at the 200 or 300 level.
Substitution Options: Are courses that are found to have relevant content applicable to the IDS program and particular theme of the Stream; and
that are not currently listed in the IDS program but that are currently being reviewed by the Faculty for official addit ion to the program/stream. A
