(see below) PS: Students will utilize skills obtained in experimental scenarios to identify variables, write a hypothesis, communicate results and write an appropriate conclusion. Teacher Input: The teacher will orally discuss bellringer questions allowing students to discuss their rationales. The teacher will model steps to complete converting metric units using the ladder method. Independent Practice: The students will use text associated workbook to complete section 1.3 Measurements in Science Scientific notation Length Mass Volume Precision Accuracy Significant figures ( Review Vocabulary) Homework Homework: The students will use ladder method to complete Metric Mania introduction (See Right attachment) W CCSS/GLE: SI-H-A2 (2) Bellringer: The students will complete daily bellringer assignments using teacher created topics. Review how to convert units using the metric system for various units including time, temperature, mass, and volume. Guided Practice: The students will orally review and discuss homework assignment Metric Mania. The students will review and grade Content Section 1.3 Measurements. Students will use smart board to demonstrate and justify their answers.
